"Went here for nasi kerabu & it was great. The rice is good, the kelapa/serunding ikan is spot on. It's not just coconut like other places, u can taste the fish in it. The lada solok also very good but some ginger pieces in it,making it bright & refreshing. Not too sweet. I add kuah gulai lemak & it was amazing. One of the best i had For lauk, i got the lemak bakar, kerabu perut & sup daging. Kerabu perut is great. The beef tripe properly cleaned. Sour & sweet, refreshing with lots of tomato. The soup also very good. Not too sweet. It's proper soup with strong beefy taste. The lemak bakar is a slight letdown. It's drench in this sweet, almost blackpepper sauce, reminiscent of kambing bakar at Uptown. I prefer the flavor of lemak /beef fat to be the upfront, instead of being overshadowed by sauce.not bad per say, but there's other better alternative, like at Kelmira There's alot more other dishes available. I had the daging goreng kunyit on my 2nd visit & that also good. Definitely recommended. The place is big, with lots of table. Fast service & the price is surprisingly affordable. I can see why this place is so popular. The hype is real. I tried the other popular nasi Kerabu spot but after 2 visit, Mekla is my preferred choice."

"It is an open restaurant (not air conditioned)has a large parking area with large seating space. It’s a self service restaurant but you can asked the staff for anything. Just order what you want and pick out your side dishes. They serve other dishes of nasi berlauk, mee kari and others from their main Nasi kerabu. The price is reasonable, everything on our plate and drinks has a total of rm30, the lemak bakar is rm5 per plate, and the keropok is rm3 per packet. The foods are delicious and well seasoned. Definitely worth it service is quite slow during paying but okay nonetheless"

"Good place of local breakfast. Location quite hidden but a lot of people came here to dine in on breakfast time. A lot local food served here. Self service concept. Large dine in area. Vehicle parking available on site. Open early at 7:30am & suggest to come early if you dont like to line up & wait for the table because peak hour is 9am - 10am. Overall base my experience, service quite fast & foods are delicious."

"The food and its authenticity of nasi kerabu mixed perfectly well. Plenty of dishes you can add with such marvellous flavours. Plenty of parking spaces and easy access to the restaurant. Yet the restaurant can be crowded although there are plenty of seating spaces"

"incredible variety of dishes to choose from! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are efficient. Parking is easy here, too. The only small drawback is that if you arrive right at opening time (around 7:30 AM), many of the dishes are not quite ready yet. It's best to come a little later for the full selection! Highly recommend the food, though.Great Food, Worth the Wait!"

"Absolutely the Best Nasi Kerabu in Malaysia! I specially made a trip from Singapore just for this—and it was 100% worth it! The Nasi Kerabu here is hands down the best I’ve ever had. For just RM5, you get an incredibly generous and delicious plate. The vegetables are super fresh and juicy, the salted egg is perfectly sandy and rich, and the mix of spicy sambal and fragrant coconut is simply irresistible. To top it off, the teh tarik is wonderfully classic—smooth, creamy, and topped with a thick layer of frothy bubbles that make it extra satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kuantan. Authentic, affordable, and absolutely delicious!"

"Atmosphere not bad if your and outsider, maybe for a local put ok, on a downside a big place like this they only have 1 toilet for each gender. Kids like the nasi minyak, we ordersd the nasi kerabu lauk ikan tongkol and laksam, boleh lah… nothing special same as what we can get from KL. so far a good place to have your breakfast."
